Faisalabad (                                ) The CNG Public Transport Service will be started in Faisalabad by the Punjab Government, wherein this project will be initiated on Public-Private Partnership. Initially Project based on 150 Buses will be started within four months, said Chief Minister Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, during a meeting with Members Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Wherein a large number of industrialists and parliamentarian were also present at the moment. Chief Minister further assured that the Punjab Air Lines Services and Punjab Railway Cargo Services will also be initiated with the Public-Private Partnership in near future. He further announced that International Cabaddi Stadium and Football Stadium will be constructed accordingly. In this directed to Divisional Commissioner and DCO Faisalabad to prepare feasibility accordingly. Chief Minister further appreciated the suggestion of President FCCI regarding construction Parking Plazas and announced that the Punjab Government will invest for the said projects. He further added that the Faisalabad city is playing a vital role in the economic development of the Country and providing employment to the Millions of labor. In this respect participation of Industrialists and business community in establishment of Shahbaz Nagar is appreciable. He further highlighted that the Cleaner Water Project had been inaugurated here which will provide 35% of water supply to the residents of Faisalabad City. He endorsed the FCCI demand of establishment of Bench of Lahore High Court in Faisalabad, in this regard the Punjab Government had already forwarded the recommendations to the Lahore High Court for final approval. While concluding his address he announced the three representatives of FCCI Board of Directors of Punjab Bank. Earlier his welcome address the President FCCI Mr. Muzammil Sultan demanded to release the development funds for the Faisalabad City for the image building. He further requested to Chief Minister Punjab to approve the projects of widening of the Canal Road and construction of flyovers and underpasses. He demanded that the Cabaddi & Football Stadium and Medical College may also be established in near future. He further said that construction of Ring Road and Children Hospital may also be approved. Keeping in view the business and shopping plazas in the Faisalabad City, he requested to initiate to construct parking plazas. He recorded his concerns before the Chief Minister regarding the biased attitude and harassment created by the environment, labor and social security departments. While concluding the meeting former Presidents FCCI Mian Javed Iqbal, Mian Muhammad Adrees, Kh. Asem Khurshid, expressed their views. The meeting ended with the vote of thanks.
